What This Module Covers

Welcome to the module on writing music for suspense, tension and horror.

This module steps away from the diatonic scale covered previously to explore territory that is less obvious for musicians used to writing songs. The goal is to master progressive tension and dissonance, so you can unsettle the listener and move beyond the traditional diatonic scale everyone knows (C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C).
